Check Point Software Celebrates Partner Success at Annual UK Partner Awards

Check Point has announced the winners of its 2026 UK Partner Awards, recognising the achievements of its UK partner ecosystem and their role in helping organisations strengthen cyber resilience.

The awards ceremony took place on 19 March 2026 at One Moorgate Place in London, bringing together partners from across the UK to celebrate innovation, collaboration and measurable customer impact. The event was opened by Mark Weir, Regional Director UK and Ireland, and Martin Rutterford, Channel Director UK and Ireland, who reflected on the growing importance of trusted partnerships as organisations navigate an increasingly complex cyber threat landscape.

The awards come at a time when UK organisations are facing heightened cyber risk. According to Check Point’s 2026 UK Threat Landscape Report, the UK was the most targeted country in Europe in 2025, accounting for approximately 16 percent of attacks across the region. Business services, technology and retail were among the most targeted sectors, highlighting the growing challenge organisations face in managing exposure across hybrid, cloud and AI‑driven environments.

As artificial intelligence reshapes both business operations and the threat landscape, organisations are under increasing pressure to reduce risk without slowing innovation. Check Point’s mission is to enable a secure AI transformation, helping customers move from visibility to prevention and execution at scale. In this environment, partners play a vital role in translating security strategy into real‑world protection, supporting customers as they prioritise and reduce exposure before attacks occur.

The 2026 UK Partner Awards recognise partners that have demonstrated outstanding performance, technical excellence and customer impact over the past year, helping organisations strengthen resilience and operate securely as threats continue to evolve.

Our partners are on the front line of helping organisations turn security strategy into action, reducing exposure and strengthening resilience across increasingly complex environments. These awards recognise the critical role they play in enabling customers to operate securely today and prepare for what comes next.”

During the event, Martin Rutterford also introduced Michael Herman as the new Head of Channels for Western Europe. Herman brings more than 30 years of experience across the technology sector, having held senior roles at organisations including Palo Alto Networks, IBM, Cisco and Siemens.
